God promises blessing and begins to demonstrate that blessing; Abraham demonstrates belief but also unbelief; God blesses through a unique priest
1. God promises to bring blessing to all nations through Abram
2. Abram believes God and goes where God has sent
3. Abram does not believe God and prostitutes his wife
4. Lot and Abram separate; God gives Abram a land
5. Abram brings blessing and restoration to an enslaved people (Lot and others)
6. Abram is blessed by Melchizadek
